ART RESUME<\/strong><\/p>\n

Selana E. Bronte is a journalist, documentary filmmaker and digital artist. She studied “Communication, Media and Culture” (specialisation in Cultural Management) at the Panteion University of Social and Political Studies, Athens, Greece. In 2002 she completed her Masters of Arts in Documentary Research at the London College of Communication (formerly the London College of Printing), University of the Arts London. In 2022 she obtained a MA in Digital Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Athens, Greece.\u00a0She has also studied ballet and modern dance at professional dance schools in Athens, London and Belgium. Today she follows singing lessons with the acclaimed opera-singer Marita Paschalidou\u00a0at the Municipal Conservatorium of Kallithea .<\/p>\n

Filmography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Polykatoikia<\/em>, digital video, 50\u2019, Athens 2018-2020. This video was produced as part of her diploma degree for the\u00a0MA in Digital Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts. The subject concerns the transformation of the\u00a0polykatoikia <\/em>(the Greek apartment building) during the housing, energy and financial crisis of Greece. Premiered at the Mikrokosmos Cinema, Athens February 2022.<\/p>\n

Song To The Sirens<\/em>, digital video, 5′, 2015. Music video Song to The Sirens<\/em>,<\/strong> commissioned by Mechanimal for its track Song to The Sirens<\/em>\u00a0(Secret Science album,\u00a0<\/em>2014), was screened at the symposium Something\u2019s UP with the Greek Family: From the Family-as-Frame to the Family-as-Short-Circuit<\/em>, Stegi-Onassis Foundation, 28 April 2015.<\/p>\n
